I would suggest that you try out the method I described above with the chalk/painters tape and post some pictures of your fitment to see how much you are rubbing before you purchase a new set of tires. 225 in the rear is narrower than stock (i.e. 245), so you will have less rear end grip but possibly more balanced steering.
