By the way, the E93 bar with its bushings had removed at last that clanking sound from the front, when one wheel hitted a sharp bump when turning- that sounded very much like the worn camber plates, and I could not have managed to catch that weird noise during A YEAR, neither the servisemen of three workshops!
Seems the stock roll-bar bushings were slightly loose, and the bar was trembling inside or something, as the end bolts were tight and checked regularly.
Same noise she has on her E87 118i at the moment, but much less- think the overally softer suspension with stock (until the new Koni Sport on sale at our market) shocks and Eibach Pro-Kit springs with a softer Conti Sport Contact 3 (215/45R17 all round) hides this week part.
Will do the research, as it is very interesting to me how to improve the stock hatch with a minimal budget- here is a lot of that cars 116i/118i/120i (a few 130i), several of my friends own as well.
