Mmmmmmmm.......lol
I think that without any engineering from the motorsports division, the M seems a little unwarranted. I support BMW Motorsports also, but I would not attempt to adorn the car so much that it seems like I wish my car was an M model. We all know what the M stands for, but we also must be truthful enough to know that the M in our cars case doesn't stand for anymore than
Marketing. I personally refuse to play into that. I replaced the M on my shifter with the BMW OEM Performance Shifter Kit. And if I had the duckets for the steering wheel, that M would be gone too. Then, my 135i would have no relation to anything of BMW Motorsports. I applaud the fact that the Performance pieces actually have thier own "identity" and do not come off as "M" whore upgrades. I would much rather install the M pieces (such as bushings etc.) from the M3 and take satisfaction and show support in that. But the holders DO look nice. Black FTW.
