It's been done a few times before. I don't think it looks weird. I'm planning to do it myself too. I'm just holding off to see if Prior ever releases their new kit (and the price), since I don't want to look exactly like a 1M.

Most people won't notice the fact that it looks like a 1M. For the few people that do, I don't mind taking the time to explain. I might even put an emblem on the back that says "not M". I don't want to make it look like I'm trying to copy a 1M... I just think that this is the most cost-effective way to do a front-end widebody.
