Ordered my 1M in August 2011 and... eventually got it in february 2012. Probably within the last ones to be produced.
First the Jura
Then in Basel
Some details, as she is no only cute from outside but also from inside...
Front axle: basically aluminium everywhere
Diff and rear suspension. Tubular frame in steel. Most of the suspension in aluminium, including dampers.
And in a charming company, with my M3 E30 Evo II. Nearly 25 years older but much leaner and still awesome (too me...)
Actually, I trusted the BMW's commercial saying the 1M is the true successor of the M3 E30. Hopefully I will not be disapointed
OK, now I got the first service done so serious business can start...
