I have always wondered how a Dinan flash was installed if my DME is locked from flashing, but assumed that Dinan had some way to bypass the lock. If they actually unlocked the DME to install their tune and I could just flash MHD instead, that would be awesome.

I recall someone mentioning that it worked. I was going to attempt the MHD flash via OBD because the previous owner had Dinan stage 2. But you'd have to go through the flash procedure to find out if it works or not. I think the reason I haven't attempted is because there's a chance you can screw up the DME if it fails?
I've got the cable and everything ready, just haven't attempted it.
