I don't see why anyone would lie about having an m3 if they had a nice car to begin with. That's like calling your base Carrera a 911 turbo.
On topic: How much of the amber color in the headlight is accounted for by the bulb itself? I don't think I've seen pics of a 1 with these chrome plated bulbs vs. stock.
