Welcome, Pike. The Rio Grande Region of SCCA is pretty active in New Mexico (I do Solo, or autocross, with them). There are track days sponsored by the Porsche Club and Southwest Motorsports at Sandia Motorsport Park west of Albuquerque on their road course. You should be able to stay active.
