I have an 09 135 Vert. Same problem as it is not driven much as it is not driven in the winter, and wife basically dives it several days a week. Lose the clock setting, etc. Since I started with the Battery Tender, no problems. Never experienced this with any other car, even the 06 X5 4.4 we had for 3 years. I bought the BT from my service Dept. Know I could have gotten one cheaper, but at least they could not say the problem (Whatever new crops up) was caused by the tender. Good luck
