1602 ti. The only thing close at the time was the Datsun (Nissan) 510. For $1450 I got the fastest 1600cc class dragster at my high school, and made enough to buy a set of Pirelli 36s before everyone wised up to how quick it was. Sunroof, lots of space to fit your friends in, fast, supreme handling in a drift, whether on the street or off. Same thing pretty much holds for used bimmers today, except the price tag is well beyond the means of a part-time teenage job.
