My question is that with comfort access, will the car beep or something when the car is running and the driver door is open? This may sound stupid but I'm sure every one have days when they can't wait till get into the house and crash on the sofa. So turning off the car might not be something as apparent.

As you get out the car, it goes BIIING and shows you the warning of no key.
If you are one of those poeple who are so absent minded, you would FORGET TO TURN YOUR CAR OFF - don't get comfort access.
I personally have never forgotten to turn my car off, EVER.
