I didn't change the differential fluid - was going to save that for another day.
Still trying to come up with a good way to 'suck' all the old fluid out. I was thinking wet-dry vac!
I just put the jackstands under the jack points on the sides of the car. BMW uses those plastic jack points. I didn't rest the car down on them, just put them there in case something horrible happened to the jack holding the back of the car up.
