I would keep your car stock for now. Make sure to have everything free done while your in teh states. Like services, brakes, ect. Maybe have a saftey inspection done - to make sure your car will passs the inspection on base. Probably tire thread would be your only worry.
Over here you will be paying for ALL your BMW services at euro prices. Parts and tunes can be ordered via your APO. Nothing hard about that.
