kobeballer96 has some great advice above. I would only add... that when the 'Ring is cold it can be VERY slippery! Go MUCH slower than you think you should at first. Because you may find yourself sliding off the road on some of the 'Ring's dreaded off camber and blind turns!!

I would also say be very careful at first, especially if your on slicks and it will be cold out. There are a few turns that really surprise you when you drive the track for the first time. Maybe even go for a ride with someone who has driven the Ring or follow behind them for a lap or two. That will help you at the 'Ring.

But have fun and take in one of worlds best car Mecca's. The 'Ring is something very special for us car nuts.
