Just wanted to give a brief update.
I've driven quite a bit lately, over 500 miles since receiving the latest DME software 2 weeks ago.
While the car is still better than before the update, it definitely got worse over the 500 miles (I'm guessing the adaptive transmission learning) has something to do with it. I still get occasional throttle lag, though definitely not as often as before.
I still highly recommend everyone get this update, it's a definite improvement, but it isn't the magical cure-all that some people (myself included) thought initially.
