I agree with Dackelone. The hpfp is a recall that has noting to do with the warranty. The dealership should replace it with no questions asked.

Concerning the warranty, you should find a good SA and become friends with them. I know that my dealership in Charlotte has gone above and beyond their call of duty when I had my M3.

They repainted part of the rear lower quarter panel because the paint was bubbling from salt damage. They actually did it twice because the first time the company they hired did not do a good job.

I had my Vanos fail, which they fixed under warranty and during a valve adjustment job I found a cam sprocket that had a tooth chipped from the original failure. I had my car towed in and they replaced that cam sprocket as well even though I was out of warranty. They did it because the original failure was under warranty.

I did not buy that car or my 135 from them either.

I had a tune on my M3 as well as headers and after market wheels.

I really think that it depends on the dealership. I heard some horror stories on the m3 message board but I never had any problems.
