Question for anyone who has had it done: 2 local dealerships told me that the recall involves replacing a wire that runs under the passenger's seat(cut off and replace that section). But the recall letter I just received by mail explicitly says: Positive Battery Terminal Cable. If so, is there an improved cable? My case is unique as I am upgrading to 1M battery cables and from what I have read, those vehicles too are affected. I just purchased a set of 1M cables but the part numbers for the Positive cable were never changed on Real OEM. Anybody know exactly what the work that entails fixing this cable is?
