I'm going to get these for my seldom used winter wheel/tire setup.
I won't be driving my car too much in Dec, Jan, or Feb..but I will be seeing some daily driving highway miles for the majority of March.
I'll be going with the GT1 in size 16". I have a carbio and the stock wheels are 16".
I'm not going to really mess around with wheels and such (I have 4 sets of wheels for my E30; BBS(2), OZ, & Racing Dynamics.
The new 1 series is supposed to be my daily driver but I got a economy car too, so I'll probably rely heavily on that car towards the start of December. My 1 month-old 1 series will most likley be delegated as the weekend fun car. Still I need an extra set of wheels & I need winter tires. The ASA GT1 is good enough for now.
If I start to mod my car..I'd go for suspension first! Then change the tires to a lower profile. 215/50/16 or 225/45/16 (whatever works best). From there sway bars, wheel spacers, Dinan strut bar, BMW performance exhaust, and the BMW performance intake setup.
Nothing too crazy. If I go for more wheels down the road I'd get 18's, but that wouldn't be for atleast 3 years. I just got my car.
Wheels is the last thing. I'm not gunning to have larger rims yet.
