Not a problem at all bro, thats what we are all on this forum for... sharing and gaining knowledge... and to my knowledge the AP should store your stock map or an extremely similar "picture" of that map and uses it when you flash back to stock map... so with that being said, i believe it should have stored your PPK flash as the "stock" base map... also, remember the car needs to recalibrate itself persay whenever you flash the ECU.. So you may have just dropped a lot of hp by flashing it back and the car hadnt readjusted itself to all the new parameters... people chime in please, i may be wrong
I totally agree. I had the same concern about losing PPK when uninstalling Cobb and customer service told me it should go back to PPK.

When I actually uninstalled cobb I believe it went back to PPK because 1) I still had the exhaust burbling from PPK (admittedly a circumstantial way of gauging whether PPK is there or not), 2) my SA probably didn't say anything (again, circumstantial), and 3) my butt dyno felt it was stronger than stock (I think there's a pattern in my reasoning here).

I agree with turbo1 about the DME not recalibrating/adapting to your driving since you had just reflashed it with a new map when you uninstalled Cobb (based on conversations with the BMW shop foreman).

So I present you my circumstantial evidence. Maybe someone could confirm/debunk this in a more technical way? Cobb?
