Great news !!!! Thats what i thought.. Dont get me wrong, steering wheels do peel...thats just not what happened to yours.. When they peel it more de-laminates thin shavings of leather at a time..

It was easy to spot in your pic that the areas in question were on the surface.

It will happen again...just keep tabs on it so it doesnt build up.. handcreams / cologne / perfumes / and plain old dirt is what does it.

warning to all....dont use agressive chemicals / brushes because you will make it peel if you go to far.. Leather clearner and a rag is all that it should take.
