I think it is normal to always want something "better"... more power and to "keep up with the jones's" with mod's etc. My choice for the 128i was initially based a lot on the price difference and my financial situation. However, I can honestly say that I am not disappointed at all with having a 128i. It is powerful, fun and looks great. You have to get to a point where you are truly happy for what you have and how you feel about it, don't worry about what other people say. Without comparing to anything else, the 128i is simply a great machine. 135i owners could definitely say the same about their rides.
Go with your heart, each is a great choice that you shouldn't regret.
