I like this car a lot but I can't help but think that it would have been nice if BMW had offered the N52 in the 128i with 255HP like the E90 330i or Z4. I'm also slightly jealous of the later European 330i with 270 HP though I'm not sure if having to go direct injection with all its supposed problems would be worth it.
Sadly now that the N/A inline 6 is being retired it sounds like we will never have a factory option to experience 270HP on this engine. More like inline 4 turbo with a chip
