I believe the BMW Premium Selection Extended Warranty (included by BMW dealers when selling a pre-owned vehicle) isn't transferable to subsequent owners - all benefits end with the person who purchased from the dealer.
The Allianz extended warranty provided (BMW-branded or Allianz-branded) is transferable.
At least this is what I was advised when I phoned BMW Australia (ph 133269) a few months ago. You can always call them to confirm.
