engine problem was from the earlier years of the model, most cars tend to get better as time moves on. The Rx-8 is in its 5th year of production so whatever problems it had should be a lil better now. The poor MPG is somewhat an issue but the bimmer has a little bit of that problem too.

not sure about "shakey" it's one of the best nimble and handling cars around. One thing I do not like about the Rx-8 however is the acceleration. I hate reading other forums (Civic SI) on how they rape the Rx-8 when clearly that car wasn't built for the straight line. I put more emphasis on handling than speed but don't want a slouch hah.

Anymore input would be great.
