Dont really see a problem with the dealer asking more than MSRP. If they think some fool will pay it then more power to them. Its not like they have the only 1M in the world available. If you dont like it than dont buy from them! If a dealer tried to sell me a car for more than list price I would simply walk away. There are many other BMW dealers that will negotiate a fair deal.

As far as I know, most dealers can get any car on another lot so you dont necessarily have to buy from the dealership with the car sitting there. Also, any brand new model sporty car will always be priced the highest at its launch and will come down as more units become available.
