Sun Motorcars--another nice visit, and a surprise!
Last week, I took my 128 to Sun Motorcars (near Harrisburg, PA) for a between-service oil change, on my dime.
When I arrived, the SA mentioned some service items that they could do for free, as the car is nearing its second birthday. He also mentioned a tail light recall issue that I wasn't aware of.
I spent my time reading, and looking at the Bimmers in the showroom. Someone traded in a 3-month-old M3 vert!
(Pause here while I drool at an M3 with 3600 miles, and over $10K below sticker).
Everything was finished in due time, and they remembered my request to not wash the car.
Yesterday, I replied to their online survey in a very positive way. I teasingly asked for permission to "swipe" a Sun Motorcars coffee mug the next time I visited.
Today, I received an e-mail from the general manager of Sun Motorcars, thanking me for my enthusiasm, and mentioning that I should keep an eye on my mailbox, as a Sun Motorcars coffee mug was headed my way.
How nice is that?
