http://discussions.apple.com/thread....sageID=6845419 It shouldn't matter what format you use on your ipod as it is doing the decoding ESP through the aux cable, the format doesnt matter at all, think about it, do you headphones have to decode the information from the ipod, no, bc the pod is sending an audio signal. Mine is working fine with Ma4 file extensions and you do not have to reformat your pod either.
