I only got it a bit ago so i do it everyday (time decreasing day by day though). I had a 2011 E90 335i recently for a few weeks with the traditional left right (-+) paddles and it didn't feel any better, just different. In fact, i feel that the older ones feel better when shifting up (more positive and tactile).

It is pretty stupid for MT owners to barge into every thread making a fuss. If they want to be outdated and slower, i can slightly respect that but it is like walking somewhere instead of driving there.
