I disagree since I've been on the receiving end of BMW's good will several times now. Most recently, they provided a replacement driver side window which got scratched as a result of a pebble trapped between the glass and the outer rubber seal. I could list two other instances in which other, more major repairs were undertaken on their dime out of warranty as "good will".
On another note, and please correct me if this is not true, I thought I read somewhere that BMW wheels were not supposed to be mounted using impact wrenches.
