338mm front rotors
6 piston brembo calipers

Upon my independent research these past couple months i learned that although the brembos look better and have more pistons, the internal ceramic pistons crack after several vigorous track days due to the heat. One way to overcome this is upgrading to Stainless steel pistons but then you’ll need extra cooling for your rotors as i warped mine twice without.

There’s a couple routes for upgraded as far as BBK I was going for an OEM look and opted for the f82 m4 brakes . These have 380 mm front rotors and 370 mm rear rotors! Huge upgrade from our stock 135i brakes.

Here are some pictures of my f8x brake conversion of the front and rear + Front rotor comparison!

Happy Holidays!

Thanks! I was schooled on the inferiority of the 135 calipers in another forum. Good info on upgrades - appreciated!
