Try putting a blank mailing label in the strut to see if the tire's touching it... It almost has to be! A 3mm spacer should clear that up, but I'd first want to be sure there isn't something else fishy going on there.

the rim is closer to the strut then the tire is. i cant wait to go the shop this thursday so then can fender roll the rear and also check to see whats going on in the front . maybe my car needs an wheel alignment or camber adjust?
