I had this problem twice. The first time, any right turn at any speed would result in a clicking noise. Dealer replaced the rear wheel bearing and noise went away. Then after about 6 months, the noise came back, the only difference was that it would not happen at slow speeds. I would have to drive for a few minutes to hear the noise during sharp right turns or even moderate ones.
Showed it to the stealership, they took the wheels off, inspected the vehicle,(after charging $185) they couldn't figure out.
Showed it to three independent BMW specialists, they all blamed the front left wheel bearing. Then, I found
this post which suggested that not the wheel bearing but the rotor is to blame for. I replaced the rotor, the problem is gone. About 125 miles later, and after many aggressive right turns, I cannot replicate the noise. Internet wins!
