Finally opened my BMS OCC up after 5k of driving. This was installed at 15k mi running standard US BMW Castrol 5w30. Small amount collected compared to some other n54 pics I've seen.
Also switched to Motul 8100 X-cess 5w40 at this oil change. Will be interesting to see how much is captured with the new oil.
Regardless, I’m happy to see what was captured here instead of deposited on top of the valves!
