jim, thank you for the response... upon further investigation its looking actually like a vanos solenoid could be burnt up... i did read upon the article you have shared.. and i will definitely check all the components i can get to easily tonight, and run it for a few to see if they pop again... hopefully thatll do the trick and a dealer visit wont be needed!
