Trist - you can get octane booster additive, but probably easier to fill up at Kyalami or one of those places where they sell racing fuel.
I'm grateful I didn't have 225kW available to me when I was 18, because I was shameless. My bright red citi golf used to go on routine trips sliding down wet grassy inclines, pirohetting around trees, dirt-road rallying and ramping all four wheels off the road at every opportunity (older folk may remember VW's "The Right Stuff" advert which provided inspiration). During these adventures, it seldom ran below 5000rpm, the symptom of an inexplicable spasm in my right leg.
