There is confusion in the BMW database. If you search the VIN of almost any 135i (at least of certain years) it will come out as being a "135i/135is"
The 135is was a limited edition of well less than 1000 cars sold only in the USA, only in model year 2013, although there are some similarities with some 135i M-Sport cars sold in Canada that have part but not all of the package.
If my memory serves correctly, there were less than 250 135is convertibles made in total, of which less than 45 were 6MT.
If you look through this thread, you can find a database or spreadsheet with all of the VIN#s of the 135is cars that were built.
