I want to do a HDPE but want to make sure my car will pass the tech inspection. In particular i'm concerned about the brake pads. Two clubs that I might do a HDPE with state the following about the pads:
"Brake pads/ shoes Good, with at least ¾ of pad material
visible? (Not just OK)"
or
"Brake pads — at least 1⁄2 original thickness remaining"
Now, i measured what i think to be the pad thickness to be 9mm, am i measuring it right? And does anyone know that the original thickness was for a 128i? I've searched everywhere and can't find this information!
