As long as you do the proper cooling mods with it you should be ok. Get a intercooler/oil cooler and your chances of limp drop.
That said, any time you increase boost/power with either a tune or piggy back like jb4, you are going to make the car run hotter. Which is why my car has stock power for now. I prioritized suspension/brakes over power. One less thing to worry about.
Additional cooling doesn't hurt, I'll be getting an ic/oc this off season.
