There are some inconsistencies on their website regarding the power output, if anyone has cared to look at the dyno graph that is posted there:
- power output (crank) in the text of their website is 521hp
- power output (crank) mentioned here is 514hp
- power output (crank) on the dyno sheet is 501hp
- drivetrain loss pursuant to the dyno sheet is almost 100hp, much too high for this car and such dyno (60hp is normal)
- power at the wheel is 380hp only
My guess would be that they pumped up the drivetrain loss in order to reach the magical (for marketing purposes) figure of 500hp.
As to the
turbos, they are from a German company called
Loba Motorsport. Bigger compressor, clipped turbine just like the Helix, EPL and Turbo Dynamics stage 1 turbos that have been available for some time. Not the full upgrade with a bigger turbine wheel like RB Turbo, ASR or Turbo Dynamics stage 2. No upgraded wastegate assembly either like RB or TD provide for.
