From 50~100k, the covered maintenance (should you purchase the extension) will probably include:
2~3 oil Changes @$100 each
a couple of microfilters & wiper blades @$100
a 60,000 mile inspection @$100
1 or 2 brake fluid changes (every 2 years) @$100 each
1 Front & Rear brake job including pads, rotors & sensors @$1,100
Since I doubt that a clutch would be covered, the total value would be about $600~$1,800, depending mainly on whether the brake job falls in the 2 year window.
Unless you can get it for well under $2,000, it really seems to be more cost effective to simply put the cash away in a savings account.
