RHD versus LHD does matter because they will cast there light on the road opposite. Xenon lights can be made to work on a non xenon cars rather simply. a ground on the wiring harness needs to be tapped and if you are using oem ballast, you will need a parachute kit (or recoding) to prevent bulb out warnings.

If your going to upgrade your hallogen housings, might as well upgrade to projector lenses and angel eye. they look cooler and give you the option for xenon later. I managed to get two (1 pair) for total 600 (adaptive headlight housings). found 1 on ebay and the other through auto vulture.
