The GT2 are a machined finish, where GT1 are painted. Go to tirerack and click back and forth between the GT1 and GT2 and you'll see the GT2 has "sharper" looking edges as well as a bright "machined" looking finish. The spokes on the GT1 have a slight bit more rounding on them and are *painted* in bright silver (also available in black).
