On the subject of winter storage, lots of varied opinions when I search old threads:

Vehicle storage
If your vehicle is to be decommissioned for
longer than three months, your BMW center or
a workshop that operates according to BMW
specifications will be glad to advise you.
What advise do you have? I plan to store my 1M for winter, I would prefer to remove the battery, but have heard that is bad (no trunk key access, possible fault codes, etc). So I bought the BMW battery tender. The garage is not heated and drops below freezing, still would rather remove it like I have done for years with my E46 3er.
Whats everyone's opinion on Stabil? Never used in my 3er which I have stored for 4 winters with just a full tank of premium. Always seems fine in the spring?
Appreciate anyone's thoughts, especially on the battery!
