One reason Honda's have more performance parts available is there are a lot more Hondas. There are probably also more Honda drivers who are willing to risk putting performance parts on their ride.
I remember when 1hp per cubic inch was a pretty hot motor. Now we have production cars with more than 2 hp per cubic inch and 100 hp (or more) per liter (with turbo). 15 second quarter miles in V6 family sedans. Nice time to drive.
