I'm a Porsche guy who's owned several in the past & 2 right now.
Despite this I'd chose a 135 over a 996 C4S.
2 main reasons.
1 - Daily driver means lots of mileage & lots of mileage in a 911 means big running costs.
2 - I hate the interiors of the 996. If I'm going to be doing lots of mileage in a car I'd rather sit in the 135 than the 996.
oh & I did over 50k in the year I had my 993, 40k a year in both my 986 & 997. Non of which were constantly in the shop. The only common things that went wrong were battery failures on every Porsche I've ever owned except the Cayenne.
