Ok guys... for anyone who wants to drive with us down to the BMW parkhaus...
we will meet up first at
BMW //M GmbH in Garching at 08:15.
At 08:40 we will all drive down to the BMW HQ parkhaus where the Welt meeting v3.0 will be held.

//M GmbH is just down the street from the
Motel-One where most of us will be staying. When driving down the A9 exit Garching(2nd Garching exit), turn right at the end of the ramp. Go down to the 2nd traffic light. Turn left past Motel One, first right onto Diamler Strasse. drive two blocks down, BMW M is on your LEFT. You can't miss it. We all will be double parked on the street there.

This is
NOT at the Welt, but rather on the other side, near the BMW Museum and corperate HQ tower(the four cylinder building). You drive down the A9 into Munich... follow the signs for "BMW Welt", when you exit the autobahn (after the going thru the tunnel) you will pass a MINI dealer, then see a BMW Group(Corperate sign) BMW/Rolls Royce, MINI.
Make a right into the parkhaus there! This is about 200 mters before the traffice light where BMW Museum and the Pizza Hut(far left side of the road) is.
After the car show
(@14:00) we will first drive (in small groups) to a staging area...

Augustiner Großgaststätten = take the Marienplatz stop on the U-Bahn. Then walk past the Kaufhof Galeria and direction Hauptbahnhof (towrads a Castle looking archway and the huge water fountains)

There are actually three hotels there.
Motel One,
IBIS and
ETAP. ETAP is the cheapest at ~44 euros per night. IBIS is in the middle class so to speak. But for me the Motel One is really a nice clean modern hotel. Its not very charming but it is a decent hotel for the price(~59 euros).
I will also be driving down Saturday and driving back to BA on Sunday night. I was thinking of going to a car museum while in Munchen Saturday and then maybe meeting with some 1addicts for dinner. I know Rick owes me some beers!
