I get pinged once in a while that this is still getting votes.
So, it would appear that you have about a 50/50 chance of having an issue after you change out your angel eyes, but you are pretty certain to not have any issues if you just leave them alone.
I didn't expect it to be 50/50 having a problem after the install. Those covers are a bitch!
