However, the butterfly valve requires wiring to function: creating a required vacuum upon start up (even with the wireless kit, upon cold start you'll experience an inevitable 2 to 3 second noise that subsequently dies away as the system automatically goes into closed valve mode) + toggling between opening and closing the butterfly valve.
Do yourself a favor and back order the wireless kit to have peace of mind. Your neighbors might not gonna appreciate cold starts with a race sound rumble which you can't quiet down. It is loud.

So it's either, go all out, and grind off the valve plates for good? Or get the wireless kit so I have the option and do not have to grind off anything... Also I wanted to add that there are louder cars around me... Mustangs with straight pipes, there's is an R8 two doors down etc. a lot worse than myself... I just am a proactive kind of person rather than a reactive one. My neighbor had an e60 ///M5 with full magna-flows and he never had an issue. He told me to relax on this issue, I will be fine lol. I sure hope so, technically it's legal but again people suck. It's not like I let it idle and warm up... I usually start it, slowly cruise out of the gate in first then shift early since everything is still cold. It would be a loud 60 sec max before I am on my way. I'm also 23 years old...
