Wanted to bump! and thank everyone for the awesome recs for food and activities in CA. I wound up at Fish Grotto on fisherman's wharf, since I know someone will ask that question. I wasn't able to make the time I wanted up PCH, and got rerouted due to the wildfires in the area. But we stayed in a very nice little hotel, Alton Inn in Monterey, and had a great time. We saw the sights in San Fran, had dinner with a friend in San Jose, and came back to LA in time for the wedding I went to attend in the first place.
I guess the only thing left to say is how much I wish I was driving my one on those gorgeous roads (there was one drive out to Morro Bay that had me wishing for the one). In fact, I got home last night around 11pm, EST, and had to move some cars around in the driveway, which turned into a scenic drive around the block to say 'hello' to the one again :wub:
