Of the cars I've owned, it would have to be my old Lada Niva. It wasn't fun in the conventional kind of way but every single time I drove it I had a massive smile on my face. People would always look at it funny and ask what it was. It had a hand crank and it was always hilarious to see people react when I got it out in the middle of a busy car park to start it.

I paid $300 for it and sold it for $600. It went absolutely anywhere due to being light and having factory diff lockers with front and rear independent coil suspension and pretty decent clearance. Everything I know about working on my own cars, I learned from owning my Lada. I miss it so much and I still regret ever selling it.
